Obama's New Nuclear Posture: Are you really afraid?

In listening to Fox News and other conservative news outlets talk about President Obama's new nuclear policy, I got to wondering... are there people that are really frightened by this, or is this just another case of their PR machines finding another reason to throw the word "radical" around?  Give me your thoughts.  Do you support the President's decision?  Do you even care? Do you feel less or more safe because of it?

  1. It makes me feel safer, especially in the case of Russia, which does not have a great record on the safety of their nuclear program.

  2. It feels radical in kind of a tubular sort of way (Ebby Calvin LaLoosh). The only thing that constantly makes me feel less safe is knowing that so many people watch fox news.

  3. he is a fraud, doesn't matter whether its off shore drilling, strip mining mountains for more coal, making more nuclear waste to put into Yuka mountain, Obama is a puppet, as the rest of congress. Maybe its 50,000 more troops to Afghanistan or not out of Iraq yet or more bailouts or a health care plan for big pharm, it seems we've been let down consistently.

  4. HAVING SERVED IN THE MILITARY AND RECENTLY RETIRED, I am concerned about the level of risk we are currently at.
